Nearly every day something happens in connection with this event. Yesterday, my brother told me that he had spoken to Otto in Chicago who will discount any paintings in his gallery that are bought for our art auction. Just another demonstration of the generosity people have shown us!
Ed and his wife Carissa are looking for donations in their neighborhood and the surrounding area.
Our list of artists is growing longer; we are well on our way to our goal of 50 paintings for the auction. One artist I visited actually gave me her whole collection to choose from. We happily chose two lovely watercolors. I think there will be a good variety of artwork, to include pastels, oil and watercolors, also pencil and photography. Let's keep this ball rolling!
